After all the rain that Paris had today, it was still well worth the short trip on the metro and walk to central Paris to check out the action. Chris Froome clinched his second Tour de France triumph as powerhouse sprinter André Greipel won the 21st and final stage on the Champs-Élysées this evening.
I walked from the main awards presentation stage area up to the Arc de Triomphe. Once I arrived at this location, it was difficult to walk anywhere else. I would have preferred to have stood at the Jardin des Tuileries for a change but this was also fun! Here are a few photos from my walk:
