A Nighttime Walk Around the Louvre

It was a beautiful evening on Thursday to go for a walk along the Seine. I stopped at the Louvre and then eventually wandered into the Jardin Tuileries. Here are a few shots that I took along the way.

Pyramide du Louvre. Photo taken at 11:14 p.m. - July 23, 2015. I used a 240 second (4 min.) exposure to capture as much light as possible and to "ghost out" any people walking through the scene.

  1. The preparation and thought that went into these shots, is (almost) as impressive as the photos.

The Louvre looks majestic and reminded me of Da Vinci Code.

    • Thank you! It still mystifies me how long I stood at The Louvre taking these shots (from about 10:00-midnight and walked away with only about 10 shots 🙂
